This is due to an absence of quality public healthcare services in rural areas, complemented by unaffordable private options. Such inequalities are particularly apparent in southern Rajasthan, where marginalized people account for an outstanding proportion of illness rates.<\/p>\n

Dr. Sanjana Brahmawar Mohan started Basic HealthCare Services<\/a> (BHS) with many years of experience working in healthcare with, among others, UNICEF and RNT Medical College Udaipur. BHS provides high-quality, safe, and cost-effective health care for underserved people by collaborating with local health centers. Through skill-building, infrastructure development, and new technology, BHS strengthens healthcare delivery in Rajasthan and enables innovative treatment solutions.<\/p>\n

With the support of Social Initiative and Asker, 10 primary health teams in Aspur, in the Dungarpur district, will be able to strengthen and scale up their operations to increase the availability of affordable and quality maternal and child care. A total of 250,000 people will be covered by the health teams’ activities, of which 70% belong to minority populations. Together, we will also strengthen Village Health, Nutrition, and Sanitation Committees (VHNSCs) in 100 villages to promotelocal community participation in developing their own independent healthcare system.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]\r\n\t
